Brow Lift
The forehead and eyebrow regions often show noticeable signs of aging. Looseness in these structures may
cause drooping eyebrows, eyelid hooding, forehead furrows, and frown lines. In brow lift surgery, the muscles
and the skin responsible for these problems are tightened or altered to smooth the forehead, raise the upper
eyebrows, and improve frown lines. The result can be a more alert, rested, and youthful appearance. Recent
advances in plastic surgery have made brow lift surgery a relatively simple procedure with results that last from
5 to 10 years or longer. Brow lift surgery is individualized for each patient and can be done in conjunction with
other procedures such as a facelift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping.
Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and muscle from both the upper and lower eyelids.
Blepharoplasty can improve drooping skin of the upper eyelids, minimize bags under the eyes and tighten the lower
eyelid skin. The result is a more alert and rested appearance. Blepharoplasty surgery is customized for every patient,
depending on his or her particular needs. It can be performed alone involving upper, lower or both eyelid regions, or
in conjunction with other surgical procedures of the eye, face, brow, or nose. In some patients, who have looseness
between the lower eyelid and the eyeball, consideration for tightening of the lower eyelid (canthoplasty/canthopexy)
at the time of blepharoplasty may be recommended.
Facelift
Facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging on the face and neck. As individuals
age, the skin and muscles of the face region begin to lose tone. A facelift can improve the most visible signs of aging by
smoothing the loose skin on your face and neck, tightening underlying tissues and removing excess fat. As a result, your
face will appear firmer and fresher. A facelift can be performed alone, or in conjunction with other procedures, such as a
brow lift, facial liposuction, eyelid surgery, or nasal surgery.
Rhinoplasty
Surgery of the nose (rhinoplasty) is a surgical procedure that can produce changes in the appearance, structure, and
function of the nose. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of the nose, change the shape of the tip, narrow the width
of the nostrils, or change the angle between the nose and the upper lip. This operation can help correct birth defects, nasal
injuries, and help relieve some breathing problems. Rhinoplasty surgery is customized for each patient, depending on his or
her needs, with the goal of creating a nose that fits your face and achieves a harmonious balance with your other facial features.
Scar Revision
Scars-whether they're caused by accidents or by surgery- are unpredictable. The way a scar develops depends as much on how
your body heals as it does on the original injury or on the surgeon's skills. Many variables can affect the severity of scarring,
including the size and depth of the wound, the blood supply to the area, the thickness and color of your skin, and the direction
of the scar. How much the appearance of a scar bothers you is, of course, a personal matter. While no scar can be removed completely,
plastic surgeons can often improve the appearance of a scar, making it less obvious through the injection or application of certain
steroid medications or through surgical procedures known as scar revisions.
